Project Scope:
- Excavation and construction of backwater alcoves to improve aquatic habitat and floodplain connectivity.
- Construction of side channels within the Dry Creek floodplain to enhance stream function and fish habitat.
- Excavation, transport, and placement of more than 2,000 tons of rock and earthen material.
- Installation of sheet piling and cofferdams to facilitate fish exclusion and maintain safe, controlled work areas during in-stream construction.

Work included the installation of habitat enhancement and stream stabilization structures constructed with engineered logs and boulders, along with approximately 0.75 miles of in-stream restoration. The project involved driving logs to secure structural elements, in-channel rock placement, and streambank stabilization to improve channel function and reduce erosion. Construction was completed using graders, dozers, and excavators equipped with advanced GPS grade-control technology, ensuring precise excavation, grading, and structure placement.
